.: VIFA2008
From 14th March to 18th March 2008, Timas has officially
participated VIFA exhibition which had been first time hold by
HAWA (HoChiMinh Handicraft & Wood Products Assocition) at Phu Tho
Sport Stadium – HoChiMinh city – Vietnam.
The exhibition has welcomed over 150 companies from all major
furniture production areas of Vietnam and counting a number of
professional foreign enterprises & visitors.
During the exhibition, Timas has introduced to its visitors
Sirca’s newest product in wood coatings ranges for NC, PU, latest
WB technology.
The show has ended successfully with a number of new inquiries
from many companies in various sections of wood industry in
Vietnam.
.: Expo 2007
From 10th Oct – 14th Oct 2007, Timas together with Sirca will join
the Expo 2007, an annual show of furniture products from all parts
of Vietnam to join. We will bring to the exhibition our latest
wood coatings products & introduce our African timber to
exhibitors as well as visitors. Welcome to our stand.
.: Vietnamwood 2007
From 27th Sep – 30th Sep 2007, we will participate in Vietnamwood
2007, at location no. 953. This exhibition features the latest
technology and materials for the furniture industry. We look
forward to seeing you at out stand.
.: Visit S.O.S village
Timas’s managers & employees together visited S.O.S village. Here
we have given some gifts & time with the camp’s children.
.: Become a member of Viętnam Chamber of Commercial & Industry
In 28th Aug 2007, we were proud to become an official member of
VCCI in Ho Chi Minh city. This event has become a memorable point
in Timas’ history and its will bring Timas with new opportunities
and relationship with more than 6.000 members of VCCI.
.: Timas joined Ho Chi Minh Handicraft & Association (HAWA)
In 10th June 2007, Timas officially joined HAWA, a key association
of furniture manufacturers in Southern Vietnam. The ceremony had
welcome visits of Deputy Trade Ministry and other distinguished
officials. Today, HAWA’s members constitute more than 35% of
Vietnam's furniture export and Timas will work closely with HAWA
to introduce its products and services to HAWA’s members.
.: Training with Sirca’s technicians in Timas’s Lab
From 22 June to 29th June, we welcomed the visit of Mr. Gianni
Casco, Sirca technician, to conduct the technical training for
Timas’s technical team.
During this period, Timas technicians were instructed in technical
master issues in the most important series of wood coatings,
including NC, PU and water-based products.
.: New office opening
In the first week of New Year 2007, we opened our new office at
897 Phan Van Tri, Ward 7, Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh city. This
new office is close to the heart of the furniture industry in Binh
Duong Province. With significant support from Sirca group, we
launched the new lab, which is equipped with standards testing
equipment, allowing us to respond faster to the needs of
customers.
